The University of Aberdeen offers a number of computing degrees.
Msc Data Visualisation and Communication is built on a strong connection between Human Geography and Computing.
MSc Oil and Gas Computing is for those who want to specialise their computing skills in the energy sector.
MSc Information and Data Systems Management is an advanced computing degree for generalists.
MSc Information Technology is for those students, whose first degree was in a non-computing subject, but who now want to learn computing.
The degree structure
The degrees starts at different times, but most have an intake of new students in September, with the Information Technology degree also starting in January.
December and May are currently when students have exams. You can find more details about the relevant academic year on the university’s Term Date page.
While you work on projects in the summer we also assume that these will be done with industry where possible.
